Lapham-Patterson House, 1885, Thomasville

The Thomas County Historical Society will soon operate the Lapham-Patterson House, opening for tours on Fridays, stated on GASTATEPARKS site. seems its back in biz.

  3. I think it could survive in private hand as a bed and breakfast maybe. Don’t know if that’s doable. Seems like using a place is better for it that being a museum.

    • I think house museums have their usefulness, but anything to prolong the life and save a place like this is a welcome suggestion, Terry. It seems, as the state abandons more and more historic properties, this is a viable option.
