One-Stop Denham’s Warehouse, Sycamore

Before anyone ever thought of Wal-Mart, there was One-Stop Denham…generations of South Georgia schoolchildren from this region made ritual trips to Sycamore to stock up for the year ahead. Nothing like this survives today, sadly.

Turner County Courthouse, 1907, Ashburn

Designed in 1907 by Alexander Blair & P. E. Dennis…it remains one of my favorite courthouses in Georgia.

Mark’s Bar-B-Que, Cordele
