This has traces of French Colonial design, but since I’m not an architectural historian, I can only call it colonial vernacular. I’ve found a few similar houses in the area surrounding Savannah.

I too, love old houses and old buildings. I’ve noticed that it seems that in certain areas there was a certain style house built. I guess there were builders in one area that preferred one type house to build ! And that’s what they did.
