Opened in 1943 by Maurice Zell, the Twin Oaks Drive-In is the oldest restaurant in Brunswick. Though it’s changed owners over the years, it remains as popular today as it ever was.

    OH MY GOODNESS, what a joy to see the OAKS on this site. Being a ’65 Graduate of Glynn Academy (still the ONLY HI-Sc that year)….spent lots o time driving that same route mentioned in the TimesUnion piece. Thanks for the Memory!

    I have enjoyed eating there when in Brunswick. Last time was in May and the barbeque was as tasty as ever. It is a good idea to ask for extra sauce when you order though. Wonderful place. The photographs are terrific. Thanks for sharing.
