I was glad to see that this house, a longtime favorite with photographers and passersby, is still standing. And I’m glad the owner has placed a fence up front, to deter would-be vandals and mischief-makers. I don’t know if there are plans to restore the house or not, but I certainly hope so, as it’s one of the most imposing farmhouses you’ll find in this section.
