Kerri Miller Revell writes: This house was built by Turner Jackson Miller who moved his horses and wagons by train to Terrell County sometime after 1915 from Hawkinsville. He was married twice. First to Mary Francis Edwards and they had 10 children one of which was my grandfather Lloyd Jackson Miller born in 1897. My father (Harold Jackson Miller) was born in Herod. After the death of his first wife he married Jennelle Turner and they had three children two of which still live in the Dover community in Terrell County. Turner Jackson Miller was buried at the the church cemetery in the Dover community.
Crystal Miller Todd shared this update: I want to thank you for taking this picture when you did. I found out yesterday, 10/18/2014, that this house was demolished in order to put up a new irrigation system by my dad’s family. I have many memories of this house and being in this house. Thank you for preserving this memory for me and my family!
