I’m not sure if this was associated with a local business or a railroad, but I’m sure it’s a freight depot of some kind.

Brian, thanks your work on Bronwood. I am literally sadden by the loss of those historical buildings there. Would it be ok to use, with attribution of course, the pics of the demolished buildings in telling the story of my family history relative to Bronwood, perhaps at our initial family reunion in Sept. 2020? I recently discovered that my ancestral relative William Mallory was born there in 1832. He was African American. I am researching whether he was enslaved and if so by whom, whether there are whites in our family tree.. I plan to visit Bronwood in the near future. Do you have any other info on Bronwood or suggestions that might be helpful in my research, maybe sources that I could interview or write to?

There is a family owned furniture store there, it has been pass down for generations. I went looking for information on my family and someone directed me there. I’m not sure of the name of the store, but the guy there has a lot of information. Maybe you could interview him. Hopefully he’s still there, it’s been about 6 years since I’ve been there.
