My grandfather, Johnnie Carver gave the land for this church ages ago. No picture of the small little church. Edward Day used to preach there decades ago. It was the place and only time I saw my mother speak in tongues. She had no memory afterwards. IT was at a Carver/Day Reunion I think. I was only about 8 or 9 years old at the time. The church dinner used to be on fencewire stretched out above ground outside horizonally with blankets thrown over it to put the dishes of food.
