The Smiley family owned a grocery store in Ludowici for many years.

The Ludowici tile roofing was once much more common in the area, as it was manufactured in the community.

    My name is Jimmy DeLoach I lived in Ludowici with my parents George and Eliza Deloach I went to Walker High School I left 1965 I remember all these housing mrs. Sunny’s shoe shop .
