Definitely NOT spiderwarts but verbena
I know the verbena well, Liz. I was wondering if the yellow flowers were some sort of “worts”, just not sure which kind. I have spiderworts in my yard.

Hi Brian, Great photos as always, you can’t plant a flower garden that well.
Beautiful picture. I love how the wild verbena and black eyed susans have popped up all over the place due to all of the rain we’ve had down here.
