Beth Hobby writes: This was the home of John Karey Thompson. Thompson resided in the home in the early 1900’s (approximately 1915). It was a part of the Cyclonita farm. He started the pecan orchards in the surrounding area.

    John Karey Thompson was my Great Grandfather. I recently visited the cemetery. I love the story and the picture. Is the a wzy that I can save it or get it.Pamela

    Another small town I do not remember going up and down 41 as a kid. Next time I’m in the area I’ll drive 41.
