  1. My father served as the minister of this church very briefly in the late 1980s. My great-grandfather had also been the minister there in the early part of the 20th century, and there were a couple of very elderly parishioners who still remembered him, including the mother of the gentleman who ran the little country store in Green’s Cut. Thank you for sharing these fantastic photos.

    There is a series of US Geological Survey topographic maps named for Greens Cut, which is a railway cut in the northern portion of Burke County, just south of the county line with Richmond County, that being McBean Creek.

  4. I have a vague memory of this building, for my father was the pastor there from June 1980 to June 1982.
