This is a remnant of Argyle’s early days, but I’m not sure its original purpose. The brick on the first floor appear to have been replaced at some point.

    During the sixties and seventies Hoke Arnold owned the store and ran it as a general store. I’ve gone there many times back in the hay day to sell coon hides to Mr. Hoke.
