This is located just west of Hiltonia. It appears the lumber is being salvaged.
The front gable features shingles at the corners.
The interior, which must have been a lovely space at one time, is merely a shell of its former self today.
The pulpit is the only feature that still resembles a church.
Thanks to Rita Howard for the identification.
I don’t know which is worse: rotting to the ground in ruin; burning to the ground by arson or lightning, or watching it be slowly picked apart by someone salvaging the lumber. At any rate, it is really sad.
Beautiful even in ruin.
Trinity Church. They were tearing it down. Property sold now again. She will probably be burned before it is over.
