My guess is that there was a terrible problem with leaks in the valleys of this home.
I’ve seen that suggested and couldn’t agree more.
I always enjoy your photos, have been following for several years. Once in a while I will repost one of your photos on Abandoned Houses of the South, and it always will get a lot of response. And usually there will be others who follow you. Thanks for documenting. bygone way of life.
