This Sears-Roebuck kit house, a perfect Craftsman bungalow, was the longtime home of Fitzgerald dentist Dr. George Kirkley.

We lived in this house from 1980 – 1991. All of the wood work had been painted over. My mother stripped the painted beans and wood work in the dining room. The built-ins are beautiful.

Brian. I have not checked her early plan books for this nice old house, but l believe this may be another Leila Ross Wilburn! She was really prolific. I did find the Waycross craftsman in her first plan book which included a photo of a completed house…it was exactly like the Waycross house you posted even down to the punched brick porch rail!
