Bone House, 1901, Douglas

The construction date of this house would indicate that it was modified to the Craftsman style at a later date, but I can’t confirm that.

The little girl in the front yard is Ruth Bone. The home is still owned by her two children..

I love this house. Probably because it reminds me of my grandparent’s house in Plains, GA. Theirs was a Sears kit home that was built in 1920. Thanks for sharing!
