This lovely Victorian cottage was designed by acclaimed “pattern book” or “mail-order” architect, George F. Barber (1854-1915) It is one of two confirmed Barber house examples, there in Douglas, with a third house being investigated as a “possible” Barber design example. I have not yet been able to uncover the names of the original owners of this gem, but I am still working on it. Anyone with any additional info about the history of this home, please reach out to me via email, at my crdimattei@gmail.com email address. Thanks.
