James V. Brannen writes: My parents, Prentice and Nola Brannen ran this store in the early 50’s when I was still in diapers and drinking from a bottle. Mother kept me in a crib to keep me out of everything.

    My grandparents lived 2 doors down and as a kid in
    the 60s i recall walking there all the time for candy. The parking area was covered with bottlecaps. If you know the name of the store please post.

    I thought it was my Great Aunts store but I couldn’t remember the name. Hers was on a little street right off Hwy 341 after you go thru Jesus towards Brunswick. Glad Mr Brannen posted whose store this really is.
