Harrison-Lark-Alley-Jones House, 1830s & 1896, Dawson

Originally a simple farmhouse, built in the 1830s, this is thought to be the oldest house in Dawson. It was moved on logs in 1896 and remodeled to its present Queen Anne appearance at that time.

Hand-carved ornamental pendants featuring a floral motif surround the upper section of the front porch. Stylistically, they’re more akin to the Arts & Crafts movement than Queen Anne.
