Carer’s Chapel was established in 1885 and named for Mrs. Edith Calhoun Carter, one of its earliest members. The original building was located across the road. I believe the present structure dates to circa 1901.

So pleased to read your comments and see your photos.
Possible suggestion: could you put name of roads where located. I think this is on Ga. Highway 18 south of Dublin, but not sure.

I truly enjoy your photos, Brian. We entertain ourselves by driving through small Southern towns (here in Florida) and looking at old homes and buildings. I have learned much about the styles of American Southern architecture from you. Thank you!
